Meet The Travel Advisor Behind Wish Upon A Travel
Hi, I’m Colton — For me, travel has always been about more than just going somewhere new. It’s about the memories you create, the people you experience it with, and the moments that stay with you long after the trip is over. Some of my favorite memories in life have come from traveling with family, planning special trips for the people I love, and even taking adventures on my own that pushed me outside my comfort zone.
My passion for becoming a travel advisor really started through personal experience. Over the years, I found myself naturally becoming the person everyone came to for trip planning. One of the biggest experiences was organizing my large family cruise — coordinating details, researching options, finding the right fit for everyone, and seeing how excited my family became as everything came together. Watching those memories unfold made me realize how much I genuinely loved the planning side of travel just as much as the trip itself.
I’ve also planned sibling trips and personal solo adventures that taught me how meaningful travel can be in completely different ways. Solo travel gave me confidence, independence, and a deeper appreciation for experiencing new places at my own pace, while traveling with family reminded me how special it is to create shared memories together.
One of the most meaningful trips I’ve planned has been my honeymoon. Being able to dream about such an important vacation firsthand gave me an even greater understanding of how personal and emotional travel planning can be. It’s not just about booking a destination — it’s about creating experiences people will remember for the rest of their lives.

Between researching destinations, comparing resorts, organizing timelines, and trying to make sure every detail is perfect, vacations can quickly become stressful.
